LLDPE Iran Petrochemical LL22B02

LLDPE Iran Petrochemical LL22B02 Resin

Material Introduction: LLDPE Iran Petrochemical LL22B02 is linear low‑density polyethylene, mainly applied for film products. It features high rigidity, high strength, excellent ductility and favorable mechanical properties.

Main Applications

Film products: various plastic films including agricultural films and packaging films. Good ductility and mechanical properties improve film tensile strength and tear resistance.

Injection‑molded articles: high rigidity and strength suit structurally‑complex injection‑molded parts with certain strength requirements, such as plastic containers and components.

Pipe manufacturing: delivers good pressure‑resistance and environmental‑stress‑crack‑resistance for pipe production.

Performance Parameters

Performance Category Test Item Test Method / Condition Value & Unit Remarks & Interpretation
Basic Properties Density ASTM D‑1505 0.918~0.935 g/cm³ Typical density range for LLDPE.
Melt Flow Rate (MFR) ASTM D‑1238 (190°C/2.16kg) To be confirmed g/10min Public online data unavailable; refer to official TDS. Critical parameter for processing flowability judgement.
Mechanical Properties Tensile Yield Strength To be confirmed MPa Public online data unavailable; indicator of tensile‑deformation resistance.
Elongation at Break To be confirmed % Public online data unavailable; reflects material toughness and ductility.
Optical Properties Haze To be confirmed % Public online data unavailable; lower haze means higher film transparency.
Film Appearance Fish‑eye To be confirmed pcs/1520cm² Public online data unavailable; lower value represents better film uniformity and fewer impurities.

Blown‑Film Processing

For mainstream blown‑film extrusion, temperature, pressure and other parameters shall be optimized according to equipment, film thickness and performance requirements. General LLDPE blown‑film temperature range: 150‑210 ℃.

Blown‑Film Processing Notes

Shear sensitivity: LLDPE features low shear sensitivity and narrow molecular‑weight distribution, maintains higher viscosity under extrusion shearing, which makes it harder to process than LDPE with identical melt flow rate. ‑ Equipment requirements: Extruder may require higher power, higher melt temperature and pressure. Die gap shall be properly widened to avoid excessive back‑pressure and melt fracture. ‑ Bubble stability: LLDPE blown‑film bubble stability is inferior to LDPE. Dual‑lip air ring is recommended to improve cooling and bubble stability. ‑ Blending for better processability: Many film producers blend LLDPE with LDPE (e.g. 50 % each) to optimize processability and raise output capacity.

Injection‑Molding Processing

Process Parameters Recommended Range (General LLDPE) Remarks & Interpretation
Drying Treatment Normally not required LLDPE moisture absorption<0.01%. No drying needed under good storage condition. Dry at 60‑70 °C for 1‑2 h as precaution if package damaged or high‑humidity environment.
Barrel Temperature 160‑220 °C Temperature rises from rear zone to front zone. Example: rear 160‑180 °C, middle 180‑200 °C, front 190‑220 °C. Adjust according to MFR; raise temperature for low‑MFR grade.
Mold Temperature 30‑60 °C Low mold temperature shortens cycle time and prevents product deformation.
Injection Pressure 50‑100 MPa PE owns good flowability; adopt lower pressure except for thin‑wall & slender parts.
Injection Speed Medium speed Higher speed is required for thin‑wall articles.
Holding Pressure 40%‑60% of injection pressure Avoid excessive holding pressure and long holding time to reduce internal stress.
Back Pressure 0.5‑1.5 MPa Low back pressure for melt compaction; excessive back pressure generates extra shear heat.
Screw Speed 50‑100 rpm Medium speed to prevent excessive shear heat.
